Around the 10th hour of today, the Speaker- Rt. Hon. (Amb) Adeola Aderibigbe, National Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter (NYAN), alongside the Principal Executives, Members and the National Deputy Speaker- Rt. Hon. (Amb) Emmanuel Benjamin Udomoh, The National Minority Leader Amb. Ogunshola Micheal, Amb. Jamiu Akangbe all of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria visited the Oshodi market for education, sanitation and sensitization.
Today, Saturday, 12th August, 2023 mapped out for the International Youth Day Celebration, the members of NYAN, Lagos State, went into Bolade, Oshodi and ensured all drainages and gutters were cleaned and devoid of waste. The movement tagged Green Skills For Youths also hosted by the presence of the Deputy Speaker- Amb. Ajiboye Akindayo, Majority Leader- Amb. Martins Victor, Minority Leader – Capt. Amb. Nwokolo Emmanuel, Deputy Majority Leader- Amb Kennedy Valerie, Deputy Minority Leader- Amb. Akindele Tosin, Chief Whip- Amb Adewale Keshinro, Clerk- Amb. Rasheed Wasilat, Deputy Clerk- Amb Itaman Julius, Amb. Naimah Obidola Adegoke, Paul Kegameh Erameh, Amb. Emmanuel Macaulay, Amb. Atitebi Ayodeji, Amb. Chiamaka Amazigo, Amb. Abudulbasit Adeoye, Amb. Gbenga Adeyemi and Amb. Bonniesamuel Eunice Tarelaye
The local government Chairman in person of Hon. Otunba Adeola Oloyede Al-Maroof delegated some youths, armed men and civil servants to accompany them in the execution of their tasks.
While they were in the business of sanitation they had a public address system which aided them in sensitizing, trash bags, brooms, rakes, shovels and more were tools used in execution this task. They passed a stringent message to the people around on the dangers of environmental hazards and pollution and admonished them to always keep the environment clean.
They ensured the streets that looked tatterdemalion before their arrival was tidy and well-cleaned before their departure.
