On the occasion of International Youth Day, Amb. Usman Shagari, the National Speaker of the NATIONAL YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA, extends his heartfelt greetings to Nigerian youths, African youths, and young people around the globe.

“The youths are the architects of tomorrow’s triumphs, and they must always recognize and honour today’s heroes because they will be the heroes of tomorrow. As we celebrate the contributions of youths who have courageously fought for liberation, I wish you all the best on this Youth Day. Happy Youth Day!” Amb. Usman Shagari expressed during an engaging interaction with young individuals at the NATIONAL SECRETARIAT of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria in Abuja, Nigeria.

Amb. Usman Shagari strongly advocates for increased youth involvement in the ongoing democratic administration in Nigeria.

“Achieving success and leadership without active youth participation in governance is implausible. Our youth must engage in the political process,” Amb. Usman emphasized in a conversation with Mastery Media Nigeria, a multifaceted information, education, entertainment, and publication agency.

The theme chosen for the 2023 International Youth Day is ‘GREEN SKILLS FOR YOUTH: TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE WORLD’.

Amb. Usman Shagari conveys to Nigerian youths that this year’s theme holds unique significance and urges them to leverage it to create a secure and promising future.
